Small batch. Built by a working pool guy.

Tools made by a pool guy, for pool guys.

I'm Noah. I run a pool company out here on Long Island. When something on the job bugs me enough, I go build a fix for it. The ones that actually work end up here.

No investors, no warehouse, no call center. Just me, my crew, and a workbench. — N

TOOL No. 001

The Blow Buddy

Clamp it on. Walk away. Go help plug.

You know the drill at a closing: one guy at the pool plugging, one guy at the pad holding the blower hose on a line, one minute, three minutes, five, then onto the next one. The Blow Buddy holds that hose for you.

  • Expands inside the lineSnug it up and it seals inside the pipe, same idea as a test plug. No holding it, no air blowing back at you.
  • Hose barb for your blowerBuilt around a 1.5" ID cyclone blower hose. Slide it on, hose clamp it, done.
  • Hands free = better closingsOnce it's on, the blower guy is free to walk over, check the returns, and help get the pool closed.
  • Your back and knees will thank youNo more hunching and kneeling at the equipment pad holding a hose, line after line, all closing season.
  • No more screaming at your helperThe equipment's way back from the pool, the blower's roaring, and you can't see or hear each other. Now you just walk over and talk.
  • Ditch the bag of pump blow topsNo more carrying around 10 different blow tops for every pump model. The Blow Buddy is 2 sizes fits all for residential pools with 1.5" to 2" plumbing.

How it works

(it's not complicated)
  1. Push it in

Slide the Blow Buddy into the line you're blowing out and snug it up so it expands and seals.

  2. Clamp the hose

Slip your cyclone blower hose over the barb and tighten a hose clamp on it.

  3. Flip it on and walk away

Fire up the blower and go help your plugger. Come back when the line's clear.

Why I made this thing

Hey, I'm Noah. I run a pool company here on Long Island. We open, close, service and build pools, and I've been doing it a long time.

Every fall it's the same thing at every closing. One guy's on the blower, one guy's at the pool plugging lines, and the blower guy is stuck standing there holding a hose on a line for anywhere from one to five minutes. Then the next line. Then the next pool. By the end of the season your back is shot, and nobody can hear each other over the blower anyway.

So I built the Blow Buddy. It holds the hose on the line for you, so the blower guy is free to walk over, talk to his partner, and actually help.

If you run a route, I think you'll get it right away.
